Battery Safety

Lithium-ion batteries power modern vape devices. Used incorrectly, they can be dangerous. Please read and follow these safety guidelines.

⚠️ Important Warning

Improper use, storage, or charging of lithium-ion batteries can cause fire, explosion, or serious injury. Smoke Smart LLC is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss caused by misuse of batteries or vaping devices.

Use the correct charger

Only use chargers designed for your specific battery chemistry. Using the wrong charger can cause overheating, fire, or explosion.

Never leave charging unattended

Do not charge batteries overnight or while you sleep. Charge in a safe location away from flammable materials.

Inspect batteries regularly

Check for dents, tears in the wrap, or other damage. Never use a damaged battery.

Use the correct battery for your device

Always check your device specifications and use batteries within the recommended amperage and capacity ranges.

Keep batteries away from metal objects

Loose batteries in pockets or bags can short circuit if they come into contact with keys, coins, or other metal objects. Use a battery case.

Store batteries properly

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store fully charged or fully depleted batteries for extended periods.

Do not use damaged batteries

A battery with a torn wrap is a damaged battery. Re-wrapping is an option, but when in doubt, recycle the battery and get a new one.

Dispose of batteries safely

Lithium batteries must be recycled. Do not throw in household trash. Many electronics stores accept used batteries for recycling.
